Law Offices Of Charles J. Piven, P.A. Announces Class Action Lawsuit Against Molson Coors Brewing Company and Certain of Its Officers and Directors and the Officers and Directors of the Adolph Coors Company
Law Offices Of Charles J. Piven, P.A. today
announced that a securities class action was commenced on behalf of: 1)
former shareholders of Molson, Inc. who received shares of Molson Coors
Brewing Company (NYSE: TAP) (the "Company") as a result of the February 9,
2005 merger of Molson by and into the Adolph Coors Company; (2) open market
purchasers of the common stock of Coors from July 22, 2004 to February 9,
2005, inclusive; and 3) open market purchasers of the common stock of the
Company, following completion of the merger between Molson and Coors on or
about February 9, 2005 through April 27, 2005, inclusive, and who were
damaged by the decline in the Company's stock.
The case is pending in the United States District Court for the District of
Delaware against defendant Molson Coors, Peter H. Coors, W. Leo Kiely, III,
Charles M. Herington, Franklin W. Hobbs, Randall Oliphant, Pamela Patsley,
Wayne Sanders, Albert C. Yates, Timothy V. Wolf, Peter Swinburn, David G.
Barnes and Peter M. R. Kendall. The action charges that defendants
violated federal securities laws by issuing a series of materially false
and misleading statements to the market throughout the Class Period, which
statements had the effect of artificially inflating the market price of the
Company's securities.
No class has yet been certified in the above action. Until a class is
certified, you are not represented by counsel unless you retain one. If
you are a member of the proposed class, you may move the court no later
than July 12, 2005 to serve as a lead plaintiff for the proposed class. In
order to serve as a lead plaintiff, you must meet certain legal
requirements. To be a member of the proposed class you need not take any
action at this time, and you may retain counsel of your choice.

Period indicated and want to discuss your legal rights, you may e-mail or
