Azur Shell Landing Resort Acquires Shell Landing and Luxury Condominiums in Pre-sales
GAUTIER, Miss., May 11, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Azur Shell Landing Resort, Inc. announced today that it has acquired Shell Landing Development Inc. Shell Landing Development is a gated community consisting of 1200 acres in Gautier, Mississippi, which includes 45 previously developed residential lots, 80 acres to be developed commercially, and approximately 800 acres to be developed as estate lots, resort villas, townhomes, condominiums and an apartment complex. Future plans for additional recreational amenities at the resort community will include the development of a second 18-hole golf course at the resort, a swim and racquet club, a marina and an equestrian center.
Currently, Azur Shell Landing Resort is in the pre-construction sales phase of "The Islands at Shell Landing," a 200-unit luxury condominium complex to be constructed between the 9, 17 and 18 holes of Shell Landing Golf Club. Since pre-sales began on February 14, 2005, over 60% of The Islands' units have been reserved.
