Crossfire War: Middle East - Southeast Asia; Tehran - Kuala Lumpur
Night Watch: KUALA LUMPUR - From May 11-13 the Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi will visit Iran to increase bilateral ties and cooperation the foreign ministry was quoted Sunday by AFP.
On May 12 the Prime Minister is to meet specifically with Iran’s President Mohammad Khatami, Expediency Council Chairman Ali Akbar Rafsanjani and Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as stated to the Bernama news agency.
Four ministers will accompany the prime minister along with a deputy minister and senior officials. A keynote address will also be delivered by Abdullah at the Iran-Malaysia Industry and Investment Exchange 2005 in Isfahan on May 13.
This is a follow up to President Mohammad Khatami’s visit to Kuala Lumpur three years ago accompanied by a 91-member delegation during which a lot of trade agreements were signed. The official visit was so significant it is often referred to by this site since it stated the Jihad’s intention to control the economy of the entire region. Leaders of both nations, including Malaysia’s King, were saying openly that Islam should have more say in world affairs.
A couple of years ago, I believe it was the Wall Street Journal, that ran an article which outlined how Islamic groups, based in southeast Asia intend to divide up the region. That requires defeating and replacing the governments of non-Islamic countries like Bangkok and Yangon. That is why this meeting is no coincidence, taking place right after a series of attacks and bombings in Myanmar(Burma). The most recent one attacked a Thai business exhibition in Yangon and was timed to explode when the center would be its most crowded.
The attacks also began to happen right after Malaysia delivered the most serious public criticism Myanmar ever received from a member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). None of the known rebel groups have taken credit for the attacks. With an extremely unpopular government, a weak and ineffective military, it would be impossible for the military dictatorship to mount an effective response.
Iran and Malaysia are planning the next attacks.
