TORONTO (EWORLDWIRE) May 3, 2005

Paynacea Authentication Systems, makers of the innovative TeleAuth Two-Factor Authentication system, makes available two new service offerings to the general public. The services, free of charge, are aimed at the small to medium business, and non-commercial user market respectively.

TeleAuth is a two-factor, two-channel authentication system that is designed from the ground up to be easy to use, easy to deploy and easy to maintain. TeleAuth requires no keys, tags or other external hardware. It authenticates users by calling them on their registered phone numbers and requesting a PIN code unique to the caller.

TeleAuth is designed to handle enterprise-scale demands. With features such as load-balancing, fault tolerance and distributed processing, it easily adapts to the needs of a growing environment. "TeleAuth is simple and reliable - the complexity of integrating TeleAuth into exiting environments has been heavily mitigated. In fact, most software systems and services are up and running with TeleAuth in a matter of hours," said Mohit Muthanna, Paynacea's President and CTO. In addition, the TeleAuth client tools package, which includes PAM modules for Unix/Linux and OS X systems, code samples and administrative tools have been open-sourced and released under the Gnu Public License.

TeleAuth@Work is a commercial service that offers the benefits of Two Factor Authentication to small businesses. Paynacea hosts all the hardware, software and network infrastructure at its state-of-the-art data centers in the United States and Canada. The infrastructure includes multiple fault-tolerant servers on high-speed redundant fiber networks.

TeleAuth@Home, Paynacea's free service, is designed for non-commercial users. Paynacea recognizes the need for a safer computing environment - even at home. The service provides webmasters, power users and other computer enthusiasts with the benefit of being able to secure their systems with two-factor authentication.

Both TeleAuth@Work and TeleAuth@Home can be used to provide out-of-the-box two-factor authentication features to most Unix, Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows servers. They can also be used with VPNs, web sites and other network services.

TeleAuth@Work will be made available on May 10, 2005 at Paynacea's web site. Priced at $99.95 USD per month for five users, it has a with a one-time setup fee of $99.95 USD. Additional users can be bought in packs of five for $49.95 USD per month. Paynacea is currently accepting pre-orders for the service.

TeleAuth@Home has been available since early 2005 at the Public TeleAuth Server, http://public.paynacea.com. It is free for non-commercial use and restricted to three users.

Service is currently available in Canada and the United States only. Service in Australia and the U.K will be available by late 2005. Other countries are scheduled for 2006.
