Mechtronix Sells Additional Full Flight Simulator to China

Civil Aviation Flight University of China Orders a Citation Jet 1 Ascent FFS X Full Flight Simulator

MONTREAL, April 13, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Mechtronix Systems, a leading provider of Flight Simulation Technology worldwide, announced they have received a firm order for a second Ascent(r) FFS XTM CJ1 flight simulator from the Civil Aviation Flight University of China (CAFUC). The Ascent(r) FFS XTM CJ1 simulator will be installed at the CAFUC Simulation Training Center in Guanghan, Sichuan Province, P.R. China.

This multimillion-dollar deal closely follows CAFUC's original order of Mechtronix' Ascent(r) FFS X(tm) Full Flight Simulator last December. This unit recently received level D certification, the highest quality designation for full flight simulators.

"This second order from China is a testimony to the fact that we have got the technology, innovations and the business model right," said Fernando Petruzziello, Mechtronix' CEO. "We look forward to continue building upon our success with the Civil Aviation Flight University of China and working with a growing number of airlines that seek to bring their pilot training programs in-house."
