VA Software Launches Channels Initiative
VA Software Hires Andrew Leventhal as Vice President of Business Development and Channels; Leventhal Brings 19 Years of Enterprise Experience in Business and Channel Development at EMC(R), Red Hat(R) and VeriSign(R) to New Role at VA Software
VA Software Corporation , a
leading provider of software, information and community support for IT and
development professionals, today announced the appointment of Andrew
Leventhal to a new company position as vice president, business development
and channels. In this role, Leventhal will lead the creation of additional
revenue-generating channel and partner initiatives around the
SourceForge® Enterprise Edition environment. He will also be responsible
for identifying and securing relationships with resellers, consultants and
system integrators around the world.

Leventhal, who most recently served as vice president, business development
and channels for Sana Security, has more than 19 years of enterprise
software, open source and security industry experience at global IT
companies such as EMC, Red Hat and VeriSign.

countries. Leventhal started his IT career at EMC. He holds a bachelor of
science degree from the University of Rhode Island and an international
marketing degree from Richmond College in London, England.
