Scientific Learning Delays Annual Results Release

Scientific Learning today announced that it has delayed the release of its financial results for the year ended December 31, 2004 and the associated conference call, which had been scheduled for March 30, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. ET/2:00 p.m. PT.

The Company has not yet completed preparation and review of its audited financial statements for 2004. As previously announced, the Company restated its financial results for the periods from 2000 through June 30, 2004. The restatement was not completed until February 15, 2005, which delayed the start of the year end processes.

The Company expects to announce earnings and release its audited financial statements soon, and will reschedule the conference call at that time.
