Newly Formed Global Media & Entertainment Division Unveils Collaborative Tools for Creative and Approval Workflows and Media Management Solutions for the Film, New Media and Entertainment Industries
Former EMI Staffer Crighton Mather to Head Up U.S. Presence

Quickcut adstream, an established world
leader in providing production workflow software tools and services to the
newspaper, publishing and advertising sectors around the world, announces
the appointment of Crighton Mather as President of the company's new Global
Media & Entertainment division, with responsibility for all Quickcut
adstream entertainment and new media initiatives worldwide. Mather, who
until recently served as CEO of Quickcut North America, will head Quickcut
adstream's growth into the new media and entertainment sector, developing
and implementing new release and approval workflow solutions tailored for
the needs of the entertainment industry.
Quickcut adstream has been a leading provider of media management services
to the publishing and advertising industries, with offices in the United
States, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, South Africa, Hong Kong, United
Kingdom, Ireland, Malaysia, and Singapore. The Los Angeles-based division
now supplies the entertainment and new media industry with a proven suite
of collaborative workflow tools and services designed to streamline the
creation, approval, media management and secure distribution of video,
audio and print assets within the entertainment markets.
"Having watched the Quickcut solutions excel in the publishing and music
sectors, it was just a matter of time before we took advantage of the
synergies offered by the adstream collaborative workflow and project
management solutions," says Mather. "We can now target the creative and
media management needs of the entertainment industry as well, as seen in
the groundbreaking work done to date with EMI and Universal Music
International."
After having founded the innovative CD and media specialist ProSoft
Logistics in 1993, Mather joined EMI in 1997 as VP of Release Planning in
the UK, and was responsible for streamlining and implementing the company's
global music release processes. Once promoted to Global VP, Mather
relocated to Los Angeles and was instrumental in implementing new business
processes in support of EMI New Media, and oversaw EMI's transition of
music and related media from analog to digital, while using Quickcut tools
to assist in the creation of EMI's digital music archive. Mather then
joined Quickcut in 2002 to spearhead its expansion into the U.S.
