George W. Gretser Named Publisher Of Colorado Homes And Lifestyles
Magazine Veteran Takes Helm of State's Leading Shelter Title

George W. Gretser has been named publisher of Colorado Homes and Lifestyles magazine - the state's leading shelter publication. He brings to Wiesner Publishing more than 25 years experience in consumer, business and city and regional magazines. Gretser has managed a long list of the most prestigious titles in the business including the Los Angeles Times Magazine, D Magazine (city magazine for Dallas), D Home and Garden, Chicago magazine, Santa Fean, Aspen Soujourner, Vail-Beaver Creek and Rocky Mountain Golf. He also headed the re-launch of the venerable literary magazine, The Oxford American.
As an industry leader, he has served on panels for the National Association of Homebuilders, National Kitchen and Bath Association, and the City and Regional Magazine Association (CRMA).
In each of his previous publishing positions, Gretser has shown strong team management skills as well as a unique ability to build community partnerships. He looks forward to doing the same in Colorado.

Gretser is happy to be returning to Colorado, where he spent seven years following his graduation from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in journalism. He also holds an master's degree from the Keller School of Management in Chicago. He enjoys marathon running, cycling, tennis, competitive sailing and golf.
