Terry Scott-Mitchell, Producer and Host of "Eclectic Moments" will pay tribute to Dr. Letitia Wright, D.C. a graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles. Wright was the first African American Woman to complete hospital surgical rounds at Doctor's Hospital in Costa Mesa, Calif.
Wright's credits include numerous awards and certificates of recognition. She was nominated for Small Business Administration Journalist of the Year award. She was awarded the Business Press Top 100 Women Owned Business awards in 1996 and was featured in the Inland Empire Magazine, KVCR's Evening Editions. Wright was the media coach for the founder of One Miracle, and she hosted the televised Production of The Riverside Black History Parade. Wright has appeared on Sci-Fi Channel's "Dream Team".
Wright is the recipient of the 2004 National Entrepreneur of Excellence Award for National Association of Female Executives. Wright was in private practice in Rancho Cucamonga for nine years and six years ago she hosted "A Healthier You." Now she hosts The Wright Place TV Show.
She has a wide viewership reaching 5 million, spanning throughout Southern California and Chicago. The Wright Place TV Show on a computer during her Internet telecast: Tuesdays at 6 a.m. or 6 p.m. at www.pasadena56.tv.
The interview with Wright will air twice on ComCast Cable TV. The first air date is Thursday, March 17, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. in Los Angeles, channel 24 and again Thursday, March 24, 2005 at 4:30 p.m. Englewood, Calif. channel 35.
