Artist Beth Brawn Is Making Wishes Come True
LOCKPORT, N.Y. (EWORLDWIRE) Mar 7, 2005
Meeting Mickey Mouse, A ride in a Nascar car, and playing with the Buffalo Bills all have one thing in common. They are all wishes that a child might dream of coming true.
For some children in Western, N.Y., those dreams coming true can make a world of difference.
Lockport, N.Y., artist and owner of Outdoor Reflections, Beth Brawn, is committed to helping local children realize their wishes. Beth has joined together with the Make-A-Wish Foundation(R) of WNY and is using her talents to help make wishes come true.
With the sale of prints from her "Making A Wish" series paintings, Beth is donating a portion of the proceeds to Make-A-Wish Foundation of WNY. In addition, she hosts an annual Art Show and Chinese Auction benefit. Plans are currently underway for the spring 2005 benefit to be held at the Holiday Inn, 515 S. Transit Rd, in Lockport.
The next event is scheduled for the end of April. Donations of gift certificates and theme baskets are still needed for the auction along with sponsorships for advertising and food. Individuals and companies interested in donating for this great cause are asked to contact Beth at outdoorreflections@adelphia.com or Amanda Smith, Director Of Development of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of WNY, at 716-810-9474.
The event will be held Saturday, April 30 from noon to 9 p.m. with the unveiling ceremony starting at 6 p.m. The show also runs Sundya, May 1 from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. For complete details visit www.outdoorreflections.com.
