Location of America's Best-Paying Slot Machines Revealed on Americancasinoguide.com Web Site
"Casinos located along the Boulder Strip corridor
in Las Vegas offer the highest returns of all U.S. slot machines," says
Steve Bourie, author of the 2005 edition of the "American Casino Guide."
Bourie, who gives detailed slot machine statistics for 34 states in his
annual guide to all U.S. casinos, has also posted those statistics on his
"American Casino Guide" web site at:

Besides giving actual slot payback information, culled from each state's
gaming commission, Bourie also gives details on Indian casino slots. "Most
Indian casinos don't release their payback percentages, but we do list
information on the minimum payback percentages required by the terms of
their gaming compact with each state," he says.
"In Nevada's last fiscal year, the Boulder Strip casinos returned an
average of 95.24%, making it the highest in the country," says Bourie. "The
lowest payback was at Casino Aztar in Caruthersville, Missouri, which
returned just 89.88%."
The 2005 edition of Bourie's "American Casino Guide" is a consumer's guide
for travelers planning a visit to any U.S. casino. The 496-page paperback
book covers 36 states and lists money-saving information on more than 700
casinos -- every casino/resort in the U.S. -- plus, all Indian and
riverboat casinos.
A popular feature of the guide is a special coupon section that includes
178 coupons providing more than $1,000 in savings at casinos and travel
companies in all of America's major gaming centers. Included are offers for
FREE: betting money, buffets, shows, fun books and more. A complete list of
all 178 coupons can be found on the publisher's web site at:

The newest edition of the guide (which has been published annually since
1992 and sold more than 400,000 copies) provides all the toll-free phone
numbers, web site addresses, room and suite rates, dining information
(including buffet prices) and any unique or special features offered by
each casino as well as information on the games that are offered. Also
included are informative maps of 36 states showing where each casino is
located, plus detailed maps of five major gaming areas: Las Vegas, Reno,
Atlantic City, Biloxi and Tunica.
The guide is written by Steve Bourie, a former gambling industry executive
with more than 30 years of experience, plus the Guide features stories from
some of America's most well-known gaming experts. Topics covered include:
which casino games offer the best odds; how to play blackjack, craps,
roulette and baccarat; how electronic gaming machines work; how players are
rated by casinos; how to take advantage of casino promotions; and more.
Additionally, the book includes complete statistics showing the actual
returns on slot machines as provided by each state's gaming commission,
plus full details on where gamblers can find the best table game rules and
best-paying video poker games in all of the major gaming cities.
The 2005 edition of the "American Casino Guide" is $16.95 at bookstores,
participating AAA offices and also at America's largest RV Club -- the Good
Sam Club. The book can also be ordered online at
