Liska Biometry Announces Strategic Alliance With Marcomm Fibre-Optics
Marcomm Fibre Optics to Integrate Liska's proprietary BIN(TM) Descriptor Biometric Software Into Its DYNATROL-Based Security Systems Offerings

Liska Biometry , a biometrics
solutions provider, today announced that it has formed a strategic alliance
with Marcomm Fibre Optics, of Ottawa, Canada.
As part of this expanded relationship, Liska will begin integrating its
proprietary Biometric Identifier Number (BIN) software solutions with
Marcomm's high-level security software, DYNATROL, for its existing client
base by the second quarter of 2005, allowing the alliance to promote fully
integrated biometric security systems.
"The combined security expertise from Marcomm Fibre Optics and Liska
Biometry provides an integrated solution to enhance physical access
control," said Manoj Hippola, CFO and President of Liska Biometry Canada.
David Trudel, Vice-President of Marcomm Fibre Optics, said, "Our client
base demands the highest possible quality, features and reliability for
their security applications. We continue to achieve these standards by
integrating our DYNATROL software with other high-level secure
applications, such as Liska' s BIN Descriptor biometric software
solution."
Mr. Trudel added, "We chose Liska's BIN product line based on its unique
algorithm-based verification process which provides unprecedented
authentication analysis and identification search at incredibly high
speeds. Clients we have brought to Liska for a demonstration have asked us
to propose a solution to them to enhance their existing DYNATROL-based
integrated security systems using this technology. We foresee considerable
market growth for both products when integrated into one seamless
solution."
