Terry Shiver Named VP Group Publisher of Primedia's Motorcycle Group

The Primedia Motorcycle Group, consisting of the International and American Motorcycle divisions, announced that Terry Shiver has been named VP, Group Publisher.

Terry brings a wealth of experience and energy to this position. A graduate of the University of South Florida with a BA in Management, Terry began working for Petersen Publishing Company in 1981 as an Ad Sales Rep in the Atlanta office for both the automotive and motorcycle titles. His role was broadened in 1986 to include managing all Atlanta-based sales for all Petersen titles, including; automotive, motorcycle, active lifestyle and outdoor sports publications.

In 1989, he moved to New York and became Publisher of the newly acquired Sport Magazine and three years later assumed the role of Motor Trend Publisher. After an absence from the Company for several years, Terry joined the Florida office in 1999. Most recently he was Publisher of Primedia's four Mustang automotive titles.

Terry has had a passion for motorcycles since he was 13 years old, and he currently owns and rides a Harley-Davidson Road King FLHRI. Terry stated that, "I've always enjoyed attending bike events of all sorts... from shows to cruises to races... strictly as an enthusiast."
