GoVideo Expands Rave-MP Line With 512MB and 1GB High-Capacity Flash MP3 Players
Rave-MP Players Feature Expandable Memory, Do Much More Than Randomize Songs

Consumer electronics pioneer GoVideo®
today announced it has added two high-capacity flash memory-based MP3
players to the Sport Series of its Rave-MP(TM) line: the AMP 512 and the
AMP 1.0 -- giving consumers 16 and 32 hours of listening enjoyment,
respectively, while including a complete set of accessories and pre-loaded
music for a true out-of-the-box experience.
"These new additions to the Rave-MP Sport Series enable our active
customers to enjoy more uninterrupted entertainment while on the go," said
Jerry Barbera, senior vice president of sales and marketing, GoVideo. "The
larger capacities, ease-of-use of our drag and drop file loading format,
and unique styling make these fun and cool to own."

More Bang for the Buck
The Rave-MP AMP 512 and AMP 1.0 comes in a metallic blue with the latest
features, such as: expandable memory using SD or MMC memory cards, FM tuner
with up to 20 presets, FM/voice recorder, 16 hours of battery life and a
5-band equalizer. The AMP 512 comes with 512 megabytes of memory and
stores up to 120 songs, while the AMP 1.0 comes with one gigabyte of memory
and stores up to 240 songs.*
The Rave-MP AMP 512 and AMP 1.0 players carry an MSRP of $119.99 and
$169.99, respectively, and come with high-quality earphones, a meticulously
designed armband ensuring worry-free mobility and a sleek case offering
additional protection. The new high-capacity flash-based memory players
will be on retail store shelves later this month.
"When you compare the pricing for our new high-capacity offerings --
including all the necessary accessories -- the new Rave-MP AMP players blow
the competition away," Barbera added.
Great User Experience
The Rave-MP players come pre-loaded with music tracks by up-and-coming
independent artists so users can start enjoying their players the moment
they leave the store.
Organizing and transferring music is simple because the players are
designed to use Windows Media Player 9 as the default jukebox. Most people
will simply plug the players into their PCs and already have all of the
necessary software installed. In addition, getting music from a PC or Mac
onto the players is lightning fast and easy because of support for industry
standard USB 2.0.
In addition to allowing customers to transfer music from their CD
collection, the players work with music purchased from virtually every
online music store. Customers are no longer limited to shopping at an
online store owned by or chosen for them by the company that made their
hardware. Accessing and playing music is simple because of the carefully
engineered user interface and the sharp, multi-line, backlit,
white-on-black LCD screen.
