Medical Associates of Clinton Iowa Selects InteGreat's EMR
40-Physician Multi-Specialty Group to Benefit From Electronic Patient Records

InteGreat Inc., a leading provider of
electronic medical record (EMR) systems with the highest adoption rate in
the industry, announces that Iowa-based Medical Associates of Clinton has
selected InteGreat's IC-Chart® as its EMR system. According to the
seven-year agreement, Medical Associates of Clinton's 40 multi-specialty
physicians in four clinics will use IC-Chart to document patient
encounters, submit electronic prescriptions and orders, and obtain secure
access to patient clinical data through an easy-to-use Web browser
interface.
Medical Associates of Clinton plans to deploy IC-Chart on wireless Tablet
PCs clinic-wide. Benefiting from the product's modular approach, the
practice will have access to electronic capabilities for routine tasks such
as transcriptions, orders management, imaging, messaging and writing
prescriptions. In addition, IC-Chart's intuitive design requires minimal
training time and encourages high levels of physician adoption.
"InteGreat's on-site Process Study at Medical Associates showed that over
60% of our physicians were ready to implement EMR. It also provided us with
valuable insight on our workflow, an assessment of our physicians' needs,
and the industry's only guaranteed ROI conversion plan," explains John
O'Shea, M.D., EMR Committee Chairman at Medical Associates of Clinton. "In
addition, we were able to visit an InteGreat client and witness physicians
successfully using the system at the point of care. Overall, this
complementary -- yet comprehensive -- service gave us the information
necessary for our IC-Chart selection and a comfort level to commence
implementation."
According to Abraham Chacko, COO of Medical Associates of Clinton, "Our
physicians spent two years evaluating leading vendors and found that
InteGreat's IC-Chart was the best fit for this practice. The product's
proven expertise in interfacing with our IDX practice management system and
other ancillary systems made InteGreat's IC-Chart an ideal fit. We were
reassured by InteGreat's large multi-specialty clients, who provided rave
reviews of InteGreat. InteGreat also provided us with their entire client
list as a reference -- which is not always the case with other vendors!"
Welcoming Medical Associates of Clinton to InteGreat, David Koeller,
InteGreat's president, states, "Being selected by a group that has put so
much time and research into the vendor selection process is a true
testament to our product's technology and our company's ability to meet and
exceed client expectations. We look forward to working with Medical
Associates of Clinton to help them realize their business objectives and
meet their ROI goals."
