BEEVILLE, Texas, Jan. 27, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Brinkman Outdoors, Inc. announces Mr. Stephen Brinkman has resigned as Director and Senior VP, due to health and personal reasons. Mr. Brinkman states "he had major surgery last summer and hasn't fully recovered and wants to spend more time with his family and pursue his passion for fishing." Mr. Brinkman does intend to continue spending time field testing and creating new products for the company. Management has not named a replacement for Mr. Brinkman whose resignation was effective December 10, 2004.

Brinkman Outdoors develops innovative products for the Sport-fishing industry and understands there is more to the fishing supplies industry than just bringing unique products into the market. The Brinkman Team has organized an energetic, professional management and sales rep group with support companies that promote the success of our products as we continue to expand our product lines.

According to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, over 45 million people over the age of six went fishing in 2004, meaning that nearly one in every six Americans is an angler. Fishing is a lifelong pursuit that is as much about spending quality time on the water with friends and family -- as it is about catching fish.

Our primary customers are wholesale distributors and we have multiple products in major retail distribution channels such as Wal-Mart and Bass Pro Shops plus several hundred "mom and pop" retail stores. While many companies have innovative products, Brinkman Outdoors' patented product design gives it a competitive advantage, with increasing repeat sales, proving our products are a success. It not only catches fishermen, it catches fish!!
