iCopyright Toolbar Selected as Codie Award Finalist
New Toolbar for the Browser Helps Solve Copyright Piracy Problem

Data Depth Corporation, a/k/a: iCopyright.net,
announced today that its new toolbar for the browser has been selected by
the Software & Information Industry Association as a finalist for the
prestigious Codie Award. "The 20th annual Codie Awards continue the
tradition of honoring the best of the software, content and education
technology industries," said Ken Wasch, SIIA President. "When one considers
the number of outstanding companies that competed this year, being named a
Codie Awards finalist is a significant achievement."
The iCopyright Toolbar is a free plug-in for the browser. It provides
copyright permissions and licensing for all content publicly accessible via
the Internet. The toolbar will grant enterprise site licenses and
pay-per-use licenses according to the publisher's preset business rules. If
the publisher has not established automated licensing rules, the iCopyright
Toolbar submits a permissions request directly to the publisher. Now,
anyone with a browser can quickly and easily comply with copyright. The
toolbar can be downloaded at http://www.iCopyright.net.
"iCopyright is the most widely adopted system used by online publishers,"
said Michael O'Donnell, Data Depth President & CEO. "We were proud to have
been a recipient of the Codie Award in 2001. The iCopyright Toolbar
represents the next evolution of this technology. We encourage everyone who
cares about copyright to download the toolbar and use it to facilitate
licensing and permissions requests."
