GlobalMedia Group Releases Real-time Inspection And Cataloging Software

GlobalMedia Group, LLC, of Scottsdale, Ariz., today announced that it is shipping its iNSPECX 1.5 Inspection and Cataloging Software, which allows users to inspect, measure and catalog subjects in real-time without additional programming or third party scripts.

"The new software allows our current camera customers and users of other capture card manufacturers to start working right out of the box," states Bonsal Glascock, COO. "It is native to the XP user, and, unlike other software applications of this kind, it requires no programming. We can have customers up and running in minutes, not months."

The software has serious tools, like Live-Preview with panning, time-lapse, motion detection, measuring tools and time stamping. It also features a professional cataloging and sessions environment. It runs under any WDM supported video capture or camera driver and supports the Windows XP operating system.

The iNSPECX software has been meticulously developed to have the user working right away. "This software rocks," said Michael Harris, GlobalMedia's CTO. "[There is] no guesswork in saving your images, and cataloging is automatic. The sessions makes saving invisible to the end-user. You can't lose anything." iNSPECX 1.5 also has specialized RGB:YCrCb transcoding and offers both live chroma and gray-scale inverted video graphs. "These are true negatives of the subject. Not some simple variation of Y:8:0:0 or some blue-tint process. The video is clean and uncompressed on the screen. What you see with your eyes is what you get on the screen," added Harris.
