Universal Communication Systems, Inc. Subsidiary AirWater Corporation Secures Firm Order for 270 AirWater Machines for Sri Lankan Market

AirWater Machines to Be Made in People's Republic of China Manufacturing Facility

Universal Communication Systems, Inc. subsidiary AirWater Corporation company president Michael J. Zwebner announced today that the company has received a firm order for 270 AirWater machines for Sri Lanka.

In a statement issued today Mr. Zwebner said: "This is very exciting news for us. We are pleased to announce the next substantial order for our AirWater Machines, this time destined for the Sri Lankan market. We have entered into a 5-year contract with a local commercial group, AirWater Lanka Pvt. Limited, who are now appointed as the exclusive importers and distributors for our entire range of AirWater machines for the local market. These machines will immediately be made and shipped out to the capital Colombo, Sri Lanka from our manufacturing facilities in China. This substantial order follows the recently announced order for 140 machines for the Australian market."

The director of AirWater Lanka Pvt. Limited, Mr. Senaka De Silva stated today: "We are proud to be associated and the appointed exclusive distributors for AirWater Corp. Our company strongly believes in this new technology, and looks forward to a mutually beneficial business relationship."

AirWater Corporation manufactures a range of Air to Water machines ranging in sizes that make from 20 liters to over 5,000 liters of pure clear drinking water per day. The company has recently announced that it was donating a total of 20 AirWater machines to Sri Lanka, Thailand and India, destined for the disaster areas in South East Asia, affected by the Tsunami.

The first of these donated AirWater machines have been shipped by air, and on arrival have been installed on location in the southern area of Sri Lanka, being one of the worst affected areas, and hundreds of people are receiving pure drinking water every day. In addition, the machines are providing water for the large feeding camp operated by volunteers from Israel, that provides up to 5,000 meals per day to the homeless refugee / victims of the recent Tsunami caused disaster.
