Capstone And FTI Consulting Settle All Claims And Counterclaims

FTI Consulting Inc. and Capstone Corporate Recovery, L.L.C. have settled all claims and counterclaims.

Ed Ordway, managing director of Capstone, stated, "My colleagues and I have always denied any wrongdoing in departing FTI and we wholeheartedly reject any suggestion that we breached any duties to FTI while in its employ and welcomed a review of the evidence which we believe would have been favorable to Capstone. Nonetheless, the parties have reached a confidential settlement, which terminated the arbitration proceedings, allowing Capstone to continue to focus 100-percent on serving the interests of its clients for a settlement amount which is less than what it otherwise would have cost to proceed to conclusion of the proceedings."

Dianne Sagner, vice president and general counsel for FTI, stated, "FTI is pleased the parties were able to resolve their dispute amicably."
