Infoblox Selected as SC Magazine 2005 Global Reader Trust Award Finalist

Infoblox Inc., the leading developer of
network identity infrastructure systems, today announced that its network
identity appliance, the Infoblox DNS One, has been selected as a SC
Magazine Reader Trust Global Awards 2005 finalist in the "Best Identity
Management Solution" category. Reader Trust finalists are selected on the
basis of votes received, validation exercises and judges deliberations.
"We are honored to be selected as a SC Magazine Reader Trust finalist,"
said Richard Kagan, vice president of marketing at Infoblox. "This
demonstrates the popularity and value of Infoblox's appliances as critical
components of a scalable and secure network identity infrastructure."
SC Magazine, now in its tenth year, is the largest circulating, dedicated
information security publication worldwide. Its Global Awards recognize
innovative technology products and services from companies around the
world. Nominations in the Readers Trust Awards categories were voted on by
the readers of the United States, UK/Europe and Asia Pacific editions of SC
Magazine over a three-week period in November 2004.
The "Best ID Management Solution" category, which is designed to recognize
the most advanced identity management product or service offering,
encompasses a range of products in addition to network identity
infrastructure, such as single sign-on solutions and federated identity
management systems -- all of which can help businesses reduce complexity,
cut costs and improve security.
Infoblox DNS One appliances are built to provide the foundation for
next-generation network identity services in a secure and easy-to-manage
form factor. The hardened appliance design and intuitive graphical user
interface (GUI) enable the offloading of DNS and DHCP services from
general-purpose servers that typically handle multiple functions and
require significant administration overhead. Instead, these services can
be easily managed by a purpose-built, high-availability (HA) appliance that
is inherently secure, reliable and scalable, freeing network administration
resources and providing increased security for these critical network
identity services.
The winners of the Reader Trust Award, along with the Judges' Awards and
the Principal Award categories, will be announced on Feb. 16 at the SC
Magazine Awards Ceremony and gala dinner held at the Moscone Center, San
Francisco, Calif. For more information on the awards program or to see a
