LAX and TSA Officials Give Thanksgiving Travel Forecast; Offer Tips to Save Time During Holiday Travel
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 15, 2004 -- As the holiday season approaches, officials at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) have advice for travelers on how to expedite the security screening process. TSA and LAX officials will forecast Thanksgiving passenger levels through LAX; discuss new security measures, concessions and air service; and conclude with a bus tour to the airport's traffic management center, radio station and TSA's explosive trace detection document scanner.
