IBM Listed in Leader Quadrant in Web Hosting Magic Quadrant

IBM today announced that analyst firm Gartner,
Inc. has positioned IBM in the "Leader" quadrant in its Gartner 2004 North
American Web Hosting Magic Quadrant.
Gartner's Web Hosting Magic Quadrant analyzes a company's ability to
execute their vision to the fullest via product development and services.
According to the report, leaders are classified as having "excellent
operational capabilities" and "will demonstrate a vision that takes
advantage of flexible pricing and delivery models, while empowering their
customers with real-time management and analysis tools."
"IBM is very pleased to be placed in the leader quadrant in Web Hosting by
Gartner," said Mark Morin, general manager, IBM Global Services. "We feel
the latest results clearly reflect the success of IBM's efforts to develop
innovative application hosting and on demand services that meet the growing
needs of our clients and help them respond to constantly changing market
conditions."
The Gartner research note, entitled "Magic Quadrant For North American Web
Hosting," is authored by T. Chamberlain and L. Leong and was published on
October 5.
