EMS Technologies' SATCOM Division Appoints Shaun R. Flanagan to European Account Manager

MONTEREY, Calif., Nov. 1, 2004 -- EMS Technologies, Inc. announced today at the MILCOM 2004, Military Communications Conference, the appointment of Shaun R. Flanagan as European Account Manager for EMS SATCOM's Aeronautical Group. In this role, he will be responsible for selling eNfusion Broadband equipment to government and military aircraft operators in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Prior to joining EMS, Flanagan provided telecommunications and IT consultancy services in London, England. He acted as the commercial agent for North American satellite and network infrastructure security equipment providers conducting business with European militaries and NATO. His expertise ensured his clients' ability to participate in satellite system projects in Western Europe, Iraq and Afghanistan. His early career was spent in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Flight Officer. As a P-3 Orion Aircraft Mission Commander, Shaun Flanagan led more than 100 missions vital to NATO security.
