Midas Records and Retailer Dry Ice Set to Wrap First Round of Successful Promotion With Angel
Second Leg of Promotional Mall Tour Being Discussed

Chalk up another successful promotion for
rising pop star ANGEL and Ron Clapper's independent label Midas Records.
On Saturday, October 23rd, in Alpharetta, Georgia, Midas wraps up the
initial leg of a highly successful promotional mall tour with Dry Ice, the
Midwest-based retail chain specializing in room furnishings for teen and
pre-teen girls with 38 stores.
The fourteen-city tour featured a full-production concert by Angel with her
dancers in each mall's center court along with an autograph signing
afterward at the Dry Ice store. The concerts averaged approximately 460
people in attendance and the participating Dry Ice location experienced an
average sales increase over plan of 48%.
Explains Cathy Heimberger, Marketing Manager for Dry Ice, "Five months ago
I received a call out of the blue from Alan Siegel, the head of marketing
for Midas Records. He wanted to know if Dry Ice would be interested in
co-promoting Angel, their rising pop star and the launch of her debut
album. Since we are always interested in new ways to reach our demographic,
this venue seemed like a perfect match. The concerts were all
awe-inspiring with total professionalism displayed by Angel and the stage
production. We look forward to a second leg of the Angel tour."
Midas Records has arranged for Angel to be on the road since March 2004 to
set up the August release of her debut album, "Believe In Angels... Believe
in Me." Angel has already performed for over 100,000 students at 100
schools with her ongoing Midas Records Presents: The VH1 Save the Music
Tour starring ANGEL. She is also ready to embark on the Non-Stop-Summer
Jam with DJ Skribble in partnership with LEI Jeans, Clear Channel and
Seventeen Magazine. In early November Angel heads to Tokyo for a
promotional tour of Japan to support the release of her album there by Pony
Canyon Records. Angel will continue to work during November/December
performing her upcoming holiday songs at national children charity events
as the label sets up the release of "Lessons In Love," her latest single
going to Top 40 radio and video in early 2005.
