McDonald's(R) 'Passes Go' to Bring Consumers Life-Altering Prizes and Best Buy Bucks(TM) With MONOPOLY(R) Best Chance Game 2.0
'Apprentice' Runner-up Kwame Jackson Gets Another Chance to Win 'Big' Alongside Latin Music's Hottest Young Performer Yahir and Olympic Gold Medalists Misty May and Kerri Walsh

Guests at a McDonald's restaurant in Los
Angeles donned their thimbles and top hats to play McDonald's most popular
promotional game. To introduce MONOPOLY Best Chance Game 2.0, now
available at participating McDonald's until November 8, 2004 (or while
supplies last), the game was played on a life-sized MONOPOLY game board
covering a Los Angeles sidewalk connecting a McDonald's restaurant to the
front door of a nearby Best Buy(TM) store.
The non-traditional game board gave "The Apprentice" Runner-up, Kwame
Jackson, 2004 Olympic Beach Volleyball Gold Medalists, Misty May and Kerri
Walsh, as well as one of Latin music's hottest young performers, Yahir,
alongside consumers, four opportunities to play and win high-quality
prizes.
"McDonald's likes to engage customers with fun, new promotions that are in
tune with their changing needs," said Bill Lamar, McDonald's USA Chief
Marketing Officer. "MONOPOLY Best Chance Game 2.0 not only offers our
guests a chance to win food prizes, but the opportunity to enhance their
lifestyle with Best Buy Bucks."
This year's MONOPOLY 2.0 game offers consumers the same exciting game as
last year plus a new online version to increase each player's chances of
winning one of the many electronic, food and cash prizes.
Guests visiting participating McDonald's restaurants have four ways to play
and win:

fry carton or Chicken Selects® package for a guaranteed instant win in
increments of $1 -- $5000. Redeemable only at Best Buy stores or at
BestBuy.com.
2. Collect & Win -- Collect MONOPOLY game properties of the same color
that completes the property sequence. Receive two traditional MONOPOLY game
pieces on hash browns, medium and large soft drinks; receive two
traditional MONOPOLY Game Pieces plus a Best Buy Chance Game Piece on large
fry cartons and 3, 5 & 10 piece Chicken Selects or by sending in a self-
addressed stamped envelope for a No Purchase or an alternate means of entry
opportunity.
3. Instant Win -- Peel off a MONOPOLY game piece and reveal an Instant-
Win message.
4. Online (NEW) -- Go online at www.playatmcd.com. Customers have a
chance to win cool electronic and downloadable prizes online by accessing a
code located on the back of MONOPOLY game pieces, logging on to the
MONOPOLY promotional web page and entering the access code to determine if
they are a winner.
For the second year, McDonald's has formed an association with Best Buy to

million in cash prizes and thousands of McDonald's food prizes.
"After an extremely successful MONOPOLY Best Chance Game in 2003, we are
excited to once again align these strong, national brands," said Mike
Linton, Chief Marketing Officer, Best Buy. "Best Buy Bucks connect
consumers with the wide variety of technology and entertainment products
available at Best Buy stores through a very fun and exciting promotion."
