METAmessage(R) Service for Individuals and Small Workgroups Now Plays Back Nextel NextMail(SM), Cisco Unity(TM), and Other Voice Messages; Lets Users Receive Detailed Answers to Queries; New Subscribers Offered One Month Free Service

Onset Technology, a leading developer of enterprise access software for wireless handheld devices, announced today that its METAmessage.com ASP subscription service users can use their BlackBerry® handhelds to have voicemail attachments, such as those from Nextel NextMail and Cisco's Unity systems, played back for listening on any phone. In addition, Onset announced the addition of AskMeNow(TM) access to its METAmessage.com ASP subscription service. AskMeNow lets users submit queries about virtually anything and receive specific answers via the BlackBerry® wireless platform from Research In Motion (RIM) . For a limited time, users signing up for the METAmessage.com subscription service will receive one month of METAmessage and AskMeNow service free.

With new METAmessage voice capabilities, users who receive voicemail files (.mp3, .wav, and Lucent Voice Player .lvp) as attachments to their email can use BlackBerry to have METAmessage play back the file on any convenient phone, whether it is a cell phone, hotel phone, pay phone, or the handheld itself. This feature supports systems such as Nextel NextMail, Cisco Unity, Nortel CallPilot(TM), and TeleVantage®.

According to Eyran Blumberg, Vice President, Products of Onset Technology, "The METAmessage ASP subscription service continues to grow, offering a broad and valuable feature set to BlackBerry users worldwide. Our product roadmap is exciting, and with every new capability we add, BlackBerry handhelds continue to become more and more essential to the mobile workforce."

The 24/7 AskMeNow service offers a precise and mobile option to searching for information on the Web. Where current queries of search engines produce hundreds of results, AskMeNow pinpoints the requested information quickly and accurately and returns each query with a single, specific answer. A user simply enters a question on a METAmessage form and clicks Submit. AskMeNow completes the search and sends the results back by e-mail.

"METAmessage is synonymous with 'beyond email' on handhelds and that's why the AskMeNow service is such a great fit with the METAmessage.com subscription service," said Darryl Cohen, CEO of InfoByPhone, the AskMeNow parent company. "With AskMeNow, users can quickly get practical answers to virtually any question they might have -- without having to navigate search results on a browser with multiple links on a small, mobile screen."
