Former Polycom Executive Ken Orbach Appointed Vice President of Commercial Sales for York Telecom

York Telecom Corporation, a leading provider of visual communications services and solutions, today announced that Ken Orbach has been appointed Vice President of Commercial Sales. Mr. Orbach has 14 years of experience in the Visual Communications industry and over 23 years in the Telecom/Networking industry including key executive sales roles at Polycom, Accord Networks, VTEL, and Review Video. Mr. Orbach joins York Telecom after nearly 7 years at Polycom, which he had joined via Polycom's acquisition of Accord Networks. Over the last two and half years, he served there as Regional Vice President for the Northeast region.

Prior to his work at Polycom, he was one of the original Regional Sales Directors at Accord Networks and played a pivotal role in the growth of the company, which culminated in the sale of Accord for over $330 million. His roles at Accord included Director of OEM Sales, Regional Vice President - Eastern region, and Regional Vice President - IP Channels. He was directly responsible for the OEM relationship of Accord products to PictureTel among others. During his tenure at Polycom/Accord he consistently made President's Club and exceeded Sales Team quotas.

In 1994, prior to joining Accord Networks Mr. Orbach founded Review Video, where he also served as President. Today, Review Video is the largest distributor in the Visual Communications industry. He held additional previous sales management positions with BellSouth, Ameritech, and Siemens.
