Survey Says...Americans Want Bill Clinton for Christmas!

Toy Company Survey Takes Pulse of Americans

Americans want more of Bill Clinton and liken their next President to a popular military action figure, according to a survey conducted in New York's Times Square for the launch of Mega Bloks' new Nano Building System(TM).

Despite a tight Presidential race between Bush and Kerry, the President Americans are still talking about is Bill Clinton. Most (40%) of the people who participated in the informal Mega Bloks survey, conducted over a period of three days last week, said they would like to see a new Bill Clinton toy on the shelves this Christmas. Martha Stewart was the second choice, with 24% of respondents. Paris Hilton tied for third choice with Michael Jackson (16%).

Participants were also asked "If the next president was a toy, what toy would you like him to be?" Most (44%) chose GI Joe -- three times more than wanted the next president to be a teddy bear (14%).

The poll also suggests that New Yorkers maintain a soft spot for their landmarks. Participants were asked which famous US landmark they would like to see become a building-block toy. More than half of respondents chose Manhattan's towering Empire State Building. The Hoover Dam was the second choice (24% of respondents) and San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge got the nod from 18%.

Mega Bloks creates high quality, fun and educational construction toys that inspire kids and parents to play and learn together. The MEGA BLOKS® system features basic and themed construction toys for boys and girls of all ages. Mega Bloks' new Nano Building System is recommended for ages seven and up and features the smallest building block in the world -- as small as a pencil eraser. Headquartered in Montreal, Canada, Mega Bloks Inc. is a global organization employing approximately 1,000 people, with sales in more than 100 countries.
