Viscount to Ship MESH for International Distribution

  Share With Friends

Viscount Systems announced today that Viscount Systems has signed a number of new international MESH distributor agreements and orders. Convergent Technologies Ltd. of Auckland, NZ, is a leading distributor of security and telephone systems throughout the Pacific Rim. Aremac International Marketing is working with Viscount in Singapore and Rainbow Communication Consultants www.raicom.co.za)"> of Cape Town, South Africa, distributes through Southern Africa.

"MESH is the first addressable alternative to the old Wiegand security protocol that has been a worldwide standard," noted Stephen Pineau, President and CEO of Viscount. "The increasing demand for systems that are IT compatible and Web-based is an international trend, and MESH is incredibly well-positioned to take advantage of this trend. With the release of MESH cluster manager, international dealers also have a more reliable system that overcomes the long-standing issue of the cost of servicing and supporting the old controller-based systems."

"MESH has excellent potential in New Zealand and the entire Pacific Rim," commented Mr. Myles Russell of Convergent Technologies. "We feature MESH online and include it on our mobile showroom that tours the country. The many unique functions of the system will appeal to both telephony and security installers alike."
