Ron J. Gilboa Joins Kodak Versamark as Vice President of Marketing

Appointment Underscores Commitment to Delivering Print Technology Into Industry Mainstream

Kodak Versamark, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Eastman Kodak Company, today announced the appointment of Ron J. Gilboa as vice president of Marketing, reporting to Kazem Samandari, executive vice president, Global Sales and Marketing. The appointment is effective August 16, 2004.

Gilboa is well known in the print industry as a consultant with InfoTrends/CAP Ventures where he most recently served as director for the company's Print On Demand Printing and Publishing Consulting Service. He has over 15 years of corporate and user experience in graphic arts and electronic imaging and technical expertise in digital prepress and job workflow. Prior to an 8-year career with CAPV, Gilboa held product management and product marketing positions at Scitex America Corporation.

"He has extensive knowledge of the market and its requirements for production digital color printing and is highly regarded as a subject-matter expert in the printing industry worldwide. With his in-depth knowledge of the print industry and especially technology platforms, Ron will bring a broad perspective to the strategic marketing and development objectives for our products in the commercial and transaction printing markets."

Nachum "Homi" Shamir, president and CEO, Kodak Versamark, and vice president, Eastman Kodak Company, emphasized the importance of the marketing position for the company and Kodak's Graphics Communication Group. We have made a commitment in our research and development and are now positioned to bring our products into the industry mainstream as the printing technology of choice."

In his new role, Gilboa will have responsibility for product management and marketing of all Kodak Versamark products and services, including the V-series and D-series systems and application and system software.
