Anticipation Ultrasound Studio Offering 2-D and 3-D Ultrasound Photographs For Expectant Families

Anticipation Ultrasound Studio is bringing state-of-the-art 3-D prenatal imaging to area moms- and dads-to-be.

Anticipation Ultrasound Studio is bringing state-of-the-art 3-D prenatal imaging to Oklahoma's moms- and dads-to-be. Now with studios in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, the studios offer the latest in 3-D imaging for expectant families.

"We are a 21st century photo studio," said Ann Chambers, Anticipation founder. "The technology involved is nothing short of amazing. They didn't have anything even close to this when I had my children more than a decade ago."

Medical insurance is covering fewer and fewer ultrasound visits, with most insurance paying for only one medical ultrasound for low-risk pregnancies. But today's parents want more. They want to see their baby grow and develop. They want to know the gender before it is born. They want to share their joy with family, friends, and loved ones.

Anticipation Ultrasound makes all this possible through affordable, professional, elective ultrasound services in a comfortable setting. Clients can bring additional family and friends to share in the joy of the new baby.

Studio owners Chambers and Nancy Coryell both say that their business is a supplement to medical ultrasounds and not a replacement for them.

"We get to do the fun part," Coryell says. "We watch the baby move, stretch and yawn. We listen to the heartbeat and we take pictures. It's amazing to see how clear the new technology makes the images and such fun to help parents see their baby's face for the first time."

The studio takes ultrasound imaging to a new level by conducting sessions at clients' convenience in a comfortable, relaxed surrounding designed to welcome family and friends. The ultrasound room even has two monitors to ensure that all participants have a great view during the session.

The Oklahoma City studio is the second Anticipation Ultrasound Studio location. The original studio opened in Tulsa in 2003. Both studios' primary technology is a Medison Voluson 530 D/MT ultrasound machine, which is capable of both 2-D (flat) and 3-D (multi-dimensional) imaging.
