Beacon Wi-Fi Acquires Sun Wi-Fi

Beacon Wi-Fi Continues Their Marina Network Expansion by Acquiring the Assets of Florida Based Sun Wi-Fi, Growing the Beacon Wi-Fi Network Footprint to 60 Marinas and Over 150 Total Covered Venues

Beacon Wi-Fi, the leader in providing wireless high-speed Internet services to the marina market, acquires Sun Wi-Fi, adding their installed venues to the Beacon Wi-Fi wireless network. Key additions include: Marker 1 Marina in Dunedin, FL, Holiday Inn Harborside Marina and Resort in Largo, FL and the St. Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport.

"This acquisition is the next step in our plan to rapidly expand the Beacon Wi-Fi southeast wireless marina footprint for the upcoming 2004 fall boating season," said Chris Reitz, co-founder of Beacon Wi-Fi. Beacon Wi-Fi's coverage of the Tampa/St. Pete/Clearwater area has been greatly improved by adding several key cruising destinations to their coverage of greater St. Petersburg now including five (5) high-end marinas, the downtown waterfront, several restaurants, a hotel and the International Airport.
