East German Cola Conquers New York!
(ots) This week the first ad campaign for
an East German cola in the USA starts in New York. In the homeland of
cola, Lichtenauer, the largest East German beverage company, wants to
conquer the hearts of the Americans with Score Cola.
East Germans take on Coca-Cola and Pepsi with half the sugar. Score Cola is
even faster than Coke and Pepsi, who are also coming out with a mid-calorie
cola. Score Cola is already successful in the East German market. It has
only half the sugar as normal cola and fewer calories than regular soft
drinks.
We, Fritzsch & Mackat, are an East German advertising agency and have
developed the advertising campaign for Score Cola. We are considered the
"Experts on the East"; in 1993 we created the Club Cola campaign ("Yipee,
I'm still alive!"), which initiated the "Ostalgia" wave (nostalgia for the
east), and since then we have handled almost all the East German brands.
