Winner to Receive 1-Year CoventorWare(TM) MEMS Design Software License and Publication of Research
Coventor, the leading supplier
of MEMS design software tools, and the Micro and Nanotechnology
Commercialization Education Foundation (MANCEF) have partnered to offer
MEMS design research scholarships to current graduate students. Four
1-year CoventorWare software licenses will be awarded at the COMS2004
conference held in Alberta, Canada, August 29-September 2, 2004, to enable
research in MEMS development.
Students may apply for the scholarship in four categories: Bio MEMS, RF
MEMS, Sensors/Actuators and Other Novel Designs. Winners will receive a
full year's license of Coventor's Designer(TM) and Analyzer(TM)
CoventorWare software package to further MEMS design projects. Winners
will submit a summary of their work to MANCEF's Education committee for
possible publication at the completion of their scholarship year.
