Spanish Broadcasting System (NASDAQ: SBSA) (“SBS”) announced today that one of the most recognized figures in Hispanic entertainment, Sissi Fleitas, will be a special guest host on an upcoming edition of Mega TV’s “Esta Noche Tu Night” and will interview musician, composer and organizer of the legendary Cuban band Los Van Van, Juan Formell. The show will air on Friday, January 29 at 9:00 P.M. (ET), 8:00 P.M (PT) and 10:00 P.M. (PT).

“It is an honor for me to be able to interview someone who has revolutionized the music industry throughout the world, not just in Cuba. I belong to a new generation of new ideas with new music and I believe that the world has evolved throughout the last few years, not only in Cuba, but also in Miami, New York, Paris, and it is impossible to think the same way we used to think 50 years ago,” said Sissi Fleitas about her interview with Juan Formell who developed his career in Cuba.

“We are fortunate that popular Cuban artists choose Mega TV, and in the case of Juan Formell, he decided to give an exclusive interview to ‘Esta Noche Tu Night,’ the only show airing in South Florida before his performance this weekend,” said Eduardo Suarez, Vice President of Production at Mega TV.

“While the legal situation of Alexis Valdes’ contract renewal is clarified, we have invited many experienced women of television to host ‘Esta Noche Tu Night.’ Sissi is the best woman to do this particular show because she is Cuban and met Formell in Cuba years back, even performed with his band at her 16th birthday and he participated with her in other various shows,” said Suarez. “Formell stayed in Cuba while Sissi left Cuba to reestablish her career, and they have not seen each other again in years. Friday’s show promises to be a day of reunions and many surprises!”
