New Kids on the Block show they still have got “The Right Stuff,” as the quintet received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Thursday.

NKOTB was found in the 1980s by Maurice Starr, the man also responsible for creating New Edition. NKOTB had four multi-platinum albums with chart-toppers like “Hangin’ Tough,” “Please Don’t Go Girl,” “I’ll Be Loving You (Forever),” and “Step by Step.”

Like New Edition, NKOTB paved the way for NSYNC and Backstreet Boys throughout the next decade and beyond.

While members such as Jordan Knight and Joey McInytre did well as solo artists, Donnie Wahlberg became even more successful as an actor – including his role as brash NYPD detective Danny Reagan on the popular CBS procedural drama “Blue Bloods.”

The ceremony was amazing, and saw one of the most enthusiastic crowds ever, according to the MC, Leon Gubler, President and CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

The first speaker before the presentation was Arsenio Hall, who said, “I love these guys … talented, classy guys.” Check out the video below.
