Hanson plans ‘MMMHop’ beer

Issac, Taylor, and Zac Hanson are now legal, as the brothers announced Monday the development of their Indian Pale Ale “MMMHop”, the beer named after their breakout smash “MMMBop” from their 1997 Grammy-nominated album, Middle of Nowhere.

“We of course make records, they are fundamental to what we do, but what we wanted to create a brand so that our fans have a greater experience” Zac said at Oxford University Union.

Along with Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and 98 Degrees, Hanson became a teen heartthrob act in the late 1990s and early 2000s with other chart-toppers such as “Where’s the Love”, “This Time Around”, and “If Only”. The brothers have a branded board game and their own label entitled 3CG Records, which was named after their 1998 compilation album 3 Car Garage.

“MMMHop” is set to debut in early 2012.
