Enjoy Exquisite Cuisine at Sir Winston’s Aboard The Queen Mary

Part of the history of RMS Queen Mary is Sir Winston’s restaurant, named after Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Located on the top deck of the Veranda Grill, at the rear of the ocean liner, this restaurant has a 180 degree view of Long Beach.

It has a touch of the Queen’s taste that you won’t find elsewhere in this type of setting. Upon entering Sir Winston’s you will be greeted by John Buchede, the General Manager.

On any occasion one will be delighted by the fine and fresh seafood, steaks and poultry. Adding just the right amount of spices to entice the palate, Chef Julie Cablay, the lead chef of Sir Winston’s and Brian Storet, the restaurant chef make every effort in ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

When ordering for the menu, I suggest the Australian Lamb shank with mashed potatoes, prepared with butter truffle and garnished with a side of asparagus, carrots and roasted tomatoes. Another nice presentation is the Champagne Sorbet, served after the first course.

Hamed Anevahi the new food and beverage director of restaurant operations at The Queen Mary is astute in his business assessment of quality cuisine.

There are those wonderful times when dining can be relaxed and very romantic. That is the time experienced at Sir Winston’s aboard RMS Queen Mary.

Celebrity Scene News awards 4 stars to Sir Winston’s for this special occasion. Call 877-342-0738 for reservations.
