Entertainment insider Bruce Edwin of the Hollywood Sentinel reports today on the press conference held this morning regarding actor and singer Lindsay Lohan. The prison spokesman stated, “Ladies and gentleman, Lindsay Lohan was released from custody at 1:35 this morning. She has been sent directly to her next destination which is the treatment center, and she will now be under the supervision of the L.A. County Probation department. This concludes her custody.”
Ms. Lohan served fourteen days of a ninety day sentence, which is common in Los Angeles for convicted females due to the cities prison over-crowding. ‘Bling Ring’ thief Alexis Neiers was locked up next to the cell of Ms. Lohan, one of the stars she reportedly burglarized, but was sprung from her hole one day after Ms. Lohan’s lockdown.
Ms. Lohan was arrested and charged for violating her probation concerning attending rehab, which she states was an accidental occurrence due to miss-communication from her lawyer at that time. It is believed that Ms.Lohan will spend the next 3 months in rehab. She and her lawyer protested the courts demand- led by Ms. Judge Revel- that she go straight from jail to rehab, rather than having some time in between to see her friends and family. That request was denied by the court.
