Aired on NBC from 1990 to 1996, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air starred Smith as the kid from Philadelphia who comes to California to live with his wealthy relatives: Uncle Phil (James Avery) and his wife Vivian, and their children Hillary (Parsons), Carlton (Alfonso Riberio), and Ashley (Tatyana Ali). The sitcom launched Smith’s acting career, as he went on to become a blockbuster superstar with the Bad Boys and Men in Black films, Independence Day, Hitch, and Hancock. He earned Best Actor Oscar nominations for Ali and The Pursuit of Happyness.
Smith returns to save the world — and the future — in Men in Black 3, which comes out May 25, 2012.
