The Spa At Encore Offers Tranquility

The Spa at Encore is considered one of the top 10 spas in the world. This full-service spa, which encompasses 16,000 square feet, is unsurpassed by any spas I’ve seen. In addition to the Spa at Encore, there is the Salon at Encore, also a great place for pampering.

The spa features a complete full-service health and fitness center. In the dome-shaped structure, which holds the waiting lobby and sign-in area, from the silhouettes of light entering from a skylight area there, one gets a sense of tranquility. The dome area is where a staff member escorts patrons back to the locker rooms.

When patrons enter the service area, each one receives a private locker and its combination, as well as a spa robe with slippers. Hair and body care amenities are also provided. The spa offers 51 treatment rooms, 14 natural-light garden suites and four oversized couples’ suites for massage, body treatments and facials.

Wherever you look in this facility, it’s elegant, especially walking the pathway laid with a handcrafted rug along the way to the treatment rooms.

With the combined sounds of trickling water and a high essence of soothing music, it’s obvious that this is special place to be pampered beyond one’s wildest expectations.

The spa’s lavish setting elevates the connection between visual beauty and total wellness, creating a full-body experience.

Among the treatments offered are:

Lavender Stone Ritual: It includes a mild body scrub of sea salt and lavender grains, with alternating hot and cold stone therapy. A variation of this is done as a Sandalwood Stone Ritual to arouse the senses for those seeking a deep aromatic relaxation.

Good Luck Ritual Massage: Considered the signature spa treatment, this is another wonderful experience based on the five elements of Feng Shui: health, wealth, prosperity, happiness and harmony. The massage involves heated Thai herbs, a luxurious Lemon Verbena and Peppermint Foot Treatment and an ultra-moisturizing hand therapy, along with a relaxing wild lime botanical scalp treatment.

Guests can choose from Fusion Massage, Four Hand Massage, Aromatherapy and Desert Stone massages. But I tried one of the other specialty massages, a deep tissue massage.

My massage therapist, Connie, was very knowledgeable. Because of the treatment, I became more aware of areas of my body that needed more attention. And in some areas, the discomfort I came in with, went away with the treatment.

I really have to say that I had a spiritual experience; an emotionally fulfilling release of tension and stress, which put my mind at ease. I’ve never encountered that type of feeling before.

After my spa treatment, I had an appointment with the Salon at Encore.

The salon offers a contemporary setting, featuring 14 hair styling stations, 10 stylists, 4 colorists, along with 16 manicurists; 8 pedicure thrones, 6 manicure stations, 3 makeup artists and 2 makeup stations complete the array of areas. The pedicure stations were the most relaxing vantage point for me, overlooking the golf course.

So, I want to thank the staff at the Spa and at the Salon at Encore. They are definitely caring people. April, the lead manicurist, and Nikki, my other manicurist, are tops in their field.

I had my hair styled by Jasmine and my eyebrows colored by Ulkue. Both were highly professional and represented their field well.

The salon offers a wide range of services for men and women, and they accommodate wedding parties and other groups up to 40 people.

For pampering with class, the Spa and Salon at Encore are unforgettable experiences. Call the Encore at (702) 770-4053, the Spa at Encore is (702) 770-4772, and the Salon at Encore is (702) 770-3900.
